Downtown fireworks

The night of July 4th we went dowtown to the fireworks. This time Gavin watched the first few and then decided he had seen enough.

Gavin got his first guitar. His great grandma found it for him at a garage sale and it is by far his favorite toy. He loves it!

First trip to the Zoo

On July 4th we took our first trip as a family to the Indianapolis Zoo, It was really fun. Gavin really enjoyed it. He loved the dolphins and the sharks. We got a pass so we can go back more often, Gavin had such a good time.

Beech Grove Fireworks

Round 2 of Fireworks was on July 3 in Beech Grove. Gavins still liked the fireworks.

Playtime

Aunt Annie came over one night to cut hair for everyone, so Gavin and cousin Tea had some playtime. They got all the toys out and shared each others teddy grahams. How fun! He is laughing with a mouth full of teddy grahams(not crying, believe it or not)!

Gavins first fireworks

For Gavin's first firework experience, we went to the Wanamaker Fireworks. We seat in our church parking lot and watched them. Nana, Papa, Aunt Abbey and Derrick, Aunt Annie and Tea, Aunt Lara and Ava, all came too. Gavin seemed to like the fireworks. He just sat there calmly and watched them.

Look out, here he comes

Gavin is into everything now. He is crawling, and pulling up on anything he came find. He has discovered cabinets and how to open them and take things out. At Nana and Papa's, he has even learned to turn the TV on and off. Here he is trying to reach our TV to turn it off.

Meeting Great Grandma for lunch

One Saturday afernoon we went and meet Great Grandma for lunch at an out door mall and played in the park at the mall. We had a good time. Gavin had his first grilled cheese. He love it so much he almost ate the whole sandwich!

Daddy's first fathers day

We had a cookout on Fathers Day, Gavin got to play outside. He loves to be outside.

Gavins first hair cut!

Yes, Gavin had his first hair cut. Aunt Annie trimmed Gavin's hair a few weeks ago. It was a little long in the front and on the sides so she fixed that for us. Its sad, my little baby is growing up!


After he was finish Aunt Annie had to play with his hair and give him a fun hair do before his bath.
